Please watch this video

Thank you for signing up for Coastal Cleanup Day! We are so excited to meet all of you!
Cabrillo State Beach didn't look too bad yesterday. The worst sites are the Dominguez Channel, two on the L.A. River and one at Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park. However, since we have a few small children and this is the first year for TTW, I decided to pick an easier site.

Meanwhile, please watch this short program. Capt. Charles Moore of the Algalita Marine Research Foundation talks about plastic pollution in the ocean. This is why we are cleaning beaches and dancing for a cause!

Sea Lions in LA

I want to share these photos with you. Both Sea Lions were found on the beaches of Los Angeles. These are just two among hundreds. Almost everyday, our local animal rescuers save Marine Mammals and Sea Birds that are sick or injured by marine debris.

Plastic will stay forever. Once it becomes trash in the ocean, it will stay there forever.

I wish we could tell the world that "WE" can fix this problems by reducing plastic from earth. Not just recycle it. Don't buy it. If you buy it, reuse it over and over until you recycle it.
